Paranoid Chat does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The client uses browser storage and third-party verification services to provide requested features.

Browser storage used by the client

Consent version: records that you reviewed and accepted the current privacy policy and terms.
Session token: helps restore your authenticated session after a page reload.
Theme, font, and typing preferences: remember settings you choose in the application.

These values are stored locally in your browser. They are not advertising identifiers. You can remove them through your browser's site-data or storage settings, or by clearing data for this website.

Third-party services

Account registration and login use hCaptcha to reduce automated abuse. hCaptcha may use cookies or similar technologies according to its own policies when the verification widget is loaded. The application does not control hCaptcha's storage practices.

Consent

The storage used to maintain a requested login or application preference may be strictly necessary for that feature. If a future feature introduces analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking, the privacy and consent flow will be updated before that feature is enabled.
